Baler Service Technician/Mechanic

Job Description
A successful candidate will primarily work on repairing large square balers and hay foragers. The position requires being on call and working flexible hours. Work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner. Daily duties will include daily customer contact, diagnosing, troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and making repairs. This position may be working in the field.
Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components with high levels of quality service. This individual must be able to project a professional, positive attitude, reliable, efficient and be a self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment. Service technicians are responsible for maintaining their billable efficiencies, work in progress, and revenue recovery.
Qualifications
Must have experience repairing large square balers and baler-knotters, and hay foragers
Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
Dealership experience is helpful
Able to work a varying work schedule/shift and be flexible in order to respond to after-hour calls.
Must own and maintain their own tools.
Basic computer skills required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Must have and maintain a clean driving record. No CDL needed.
