Parts Counter Associate

As a Parts counter associate in our parts and service department, you will be responsible forgreetingretail customers at the counter, processingpart orders and returns,educatingand upselling to new parts as needed to complete the job allwhile usingexceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Interact with customers to determine their needs
Makeproductsuggestions/upsellto the customer
Determine product needs and services by working directly with customers
Handle incoming phone callsas well as walk in counter customers
Make calls to scheduled service customers to inform them of accessories they might need
Demonstrate functions and features of newly purchased parts through consultation and upselling
Maintain appropriate levels of parts in stock
Place and tracks part ordersfor their customers
Perform related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level
Job Requirements:
Must have a sales/customer service background
Work independentlyand multi-task
Excellent verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift 50 60 lbs. without assistive devices
Prolonged periods of standing
Receive and resolve customer complaints in aprofessional,timely and efficient manner
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Adjust to schedule changes when customer demand is high
Basic computer skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
